Stunning, almost sculptural midi dress from the legendary London boutique Quorum. Quorum was started by Alice Pollock and was also the home of Ossie Clark. Designs by both Pollock and Clark were also sold with just the Quorum label inside, and I believe that this may well be a rare example of Ossie's more tailored work for Quorum. Below is an image from The Daily Telegraph Magazine from 1972 which uses the same fabric and is a perfect example of Ossie's tailoring skills. I absolutely adore the plunge front, fastened with a zip up to the waist but then only with a hook and eye at the bust. And the sides are completely open, giving a sexy flash of ribcage. It's like a sexy Safari outfit!

Bust fairly free due to style. I would guess around 36"-38" - Waist 28" - Hips 38" - Length 47"

Feels like a sort of gabardine. Polycotton mix.

One small mark on the front, possibly from a brooch being fastened there. A smudgy mark on one end of the tie belt. Sold as vintage.
