The London Mob
late Sixties

The London Mob were one of the major boutiques to spring up from the legendary Carnaby Street in the mid Sixties after it had been established as a fashion mecca for the swinging youth of London. Their output was typically fun, fresh and completely in tune with the mood of the time.

This has to be one of my favourite London Mob pieces, and it's an early one. These 'tablecloth' mini dresses were super popular at the time (see personal collection for my Pussy Galore of Carnaby Street one - it even got fanmail while it was on show at the V&A a few years back) and they remain one of my absolute favourite Sixties styles. Sexy, cute and very swingy....and in superb condition! Also completely unlined so you've either got to love your underwear or make friends with a bodystocking or mini petticoat! ;)
